Paracetamol Tablet – Effective for Pain and Fever Relief

Paracetamol is a highly popular and effective medicine which is used to get relief from mild to moderate pain and fever in children as well as in adults. It is often prescribed for people who cannot take anti-inflammatories because of stomach ulcer as it is mild on the stomach. Paracetamol tablet is less likely to cause deterioration of asthma or an asthma attack than anti-inflammatories (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug).
Paracetamol is the most commonly prescribed drug to reduce a high fever or for pain relief for children. It does not treat the cause of pain or fever but helps to reduce it. If fever of pain persists for more than three days, and condition of the patients is getting worse, it is important to see the doctor to know the actual cause and to treat the diseases from root. High temperature causes feeling of being unwell, headache, and pain all over the body, and paracetamol tablet can help you to feel more comfortable by lowering the temperature.

Doctors believe that paracetamol is the best treatment to get relief from coughs, colds and sore throat. Paracetamol is present in many cold and flu tablets and cough mixes as an ingredient. It acts by blocking the production of prostaglandins (pros-ta-glan-dins) which can cause pain including headaches, backaches, high temperature, and inflammation (redness and swelling).  Paracetamol takes almost 20 minutes to start work. It is important for patients not to consume more than the recommended dose as overdose will not give you any better or fast pain relief, but is very dangerous.
